Frequently asked questions

Is it free to list a property on GreatProperty?

Yes. A basic listing is free for owners and agents. Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live, which usually takes less than a working day.

Why is my listing 'Pending review'?

New and edited listings enter a review queue so that duplicates, wrong prices and misleading photos are caught before buyers see them. You will be notified by email and in your dashboard the moment it is approved or if anything needs a change.

What do the Verified badges mean?

A badge appears only after our team has actually checked that item. Phone Verified means the contact number was confirmed; Owner Verified means ownership was checked against documents you shared privately; Property Verified means the listing details were reviewed; Documents Verified and RERA Verified mean those specific checks were completed. No badge is ever added automatically.

Are my documents visible to other users?

Never. Sale deeds, registry papers, tax receipts and ownership proofs are stored privately and are used only for verification. Only the listing details you choose to publish are public.

How do buyers contact me?

Through the Call, WhatsApp and Enquiry buttons on your listing. Enquiries are saved to your dashboard with the sender's details so nothing gets lost, even if you miss a call.

Does GreatProperty charge brokerage?

No. GreatProperty is a listing platform. Any dealing, agreement or payment happens directly between you and the other party. Please verify identity, ownership and documents before paying anyone.

Can I mark my property as sold or rented?

Yes, from My Properties in your dashboard. It stops receiving enquiries and is removed from search immediately, while staying in your history.

How do I report a fake or duplicate listing?

Use the Report link on any property page. Reports go straight to the moderation team, who can suspend a listing while it is investigated.
