Safety
Report fraud or a fake listing
Every listing page has a 🚩 Report this listing link — that is the fastest route, because it attaches the Property ID automatically. Reports go straight to the moderation team, who can suspend a listing while it is checked.
Warning signs
- A price far below every comparable listing in the same locality.
- Pressure to pay a token, "booking amount" or "verification fee" before you have visited the property or seen documents.
- The lister refuses a video call or an in-person visit, or is "abroad" and will courier the keys.
- Photos that appear on other listings or on builder brochures.
- Requests to pay into a third party's account, or by gift card or crypto.
What GreatProperty does
We review every listing before it goes live, act on every report, suspend accounts that post fake or duplicate listings, and never ask you for a payment to view a property. GreatProperty itself does not collect any fee from buyers or tenants.
If you have already paid someone
File a complaint on the National Cyber Crime portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or call 1930, the cyber-fraud helpline, and inform your bank immediately. Then tell us the Property ID so the listing can be removed.
