What we collect

Account: your email address (verified by a one-time code), and the name, mobile number, role and city you choose to add. Listings: the property details, photographs and contact details you publish, which are public by design. Verification documents you upload are stored privately, are never shown to other users, and are used only to verify a listing. Enquiries: the name, phone, email and message you send to a lister are delivered to that lister and kept in both dashboards. Technical: a daily-rotating hash of your IP address for rate limiting (the raw address is not stored with your actions), browser type, and standard web-server logs.

How we use it

To run the marketplace: publish listings, deliver enquiries, send you notifications about your listings and enquiries, moderate content, prevent spam and fraud, and respond to reports. We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising networks on this site.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and a self-hosted, cookie-free visitor counter to understand which pages are used. You can block analytics with a browser extension without affecting the site.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in; a short-lived cookie carries form-protection tokens and status messages; your saved compare list is kept in your own browser's local storage. No third-party tracking cookies are set by GreatProperty.

Sharing

Listing contact details are shown to visitors because that is the purpose of a listing. Enquiry details are shared only with the lister of that property. We disclose data to authorities only where required by law.

Retention and deletion

Listings you delete are hidden immediately and purged after a retention period; verification documents are deleted when the listing is deleted. You can ask for your account and its data to be deleted by writing to us from your registered email.
